(4-24-08) Kids club....fun fun fun

Thank you Krista for inviting us to such a great place! I really appreciate the coupon too! What a blessing to be able to find a place to use up a little bit of Keena's energy. That girl had so much fun and was nonstop for 2 hrs. Jordon and Keena play great together. I love it! It wasn't exactly a picnic getting the kids out the door this morning, but so worth it. It was one of those mornings when you finally get them in the car you are ready for a nap:) The drive to Salem was peaceful though...yeah. I love how Quin just roamed around starring at people and flirting with the ladies. Well, that's what it looked like to me anyway. I enjoyed watching Amari interact with Quin except when Quin had a hard time keeping his hands off her. I could so get used to going there. It was very relaxing and I loved watching Keena explore everything that was there. Great experience, can't wait to do it again.
(April 21st 08) Facial anyone?

This is what happens when you leave a precious little girl named Keena Audrey alone with a adorable little boy named Quin.... um ya and only for 5 minutes. I was in the kitchen cleaning up the breakfast mess and thought o dear I better go see what's goin on in Quins room. In Keenas eyes it was time for Quin to get his morning facial...with desitin. Thanks to Keena Quin smells desitin fresh, I got a picture to laugh at, and a story to tell.
Walk to me baby H
No!....ya do it like this ya'll

Ok, so I have a confession- Keena is so sick of me stickin the camera in her face. Ya, ok, I know, I take a lot of pictures. If I didn't have a perfect subject maybe I wouldn't have such a passion for photography. All right moving on! Once in a while Keena will bless me with a perfect pose, like this one. I don't know what to say, this pose IS Keena. This pic says, I know what I'm doin. It says, you want attitude...I'll give you attitude. I swear she is 3 going on 14. :)Ohhhh.. it just makes me smile.
Sweet Jesus.....Amen for Reeces
Easter 08

How fun! Great time painting eggs with Miles, Adella, Tia, and Braya at our house. Went to Aunt Jill's house on Easter. Had the Easter egg hunt and fabulous food. The kids and I spent a relaxing 5 days at Aunt Lisa's house. I think it's a great idea to use plastic eggs filled with candy, money, stickers and whatever else will fit in an egg. I got a kick out of watching Keena open those eggs...hilarious. What a great Easter.
Halloween 07...goin way back

Tinkerbell and my Hot dog!
I just had to post these. Keena had just turned 3 and this is the first time she was really aware of what was going on during Halloween. She was all about gettin that candy and giving it out. It was adorable to see her run up to all the houses. She had no problem doing it either. Thank goodness it didn't rain. Quin just hung out peacefully in the stroller. We had so much fun.
March 08 madness: Keena, are you responsible for all this?

I took 5 minutes to finish something up in the bedroom before I fed Quin his carrots. Well,Keena, my darling little helper took it upon herself to assist me in feeding the baby. How thoughtful of her. So I spot this as I walk in to the kitchen, stopped dead in my tracks and thought.... where is my camera:)As I grab my camera I see Keena using Quins face as a target flicking food with a spoon towards his face. Quin was laughing hysterically. I couldn't believe how much damage could actually be done in 5 minutes. It's absolutely amazing! So as I take pictures I am cracking up. I thanked Keena for being such a big helper and kindly reminded her that her brothers face should not be used as a target for anything. Priceless moment!

It's all about Basketball...
Park fun Febuary 08
Febuary 14th 08...Thanks daddy

OK, well there is something I have to share about this flower that Keena has. The peddles from this flower will go into a box. Every Valentines day Ham will get Keena a rose and all those peddles will go in that same box. The peddles collected from her dad that were put in this special box will be used in her wedding one day. Now, we know our dream of her getting married may not happen for whatever reason, but the idea is cool.
Wish I could say this was my original idea..it's not. I thought that for those of you who have little "daddy's girl," this is such a fabulous idea. That is why we are doing it.
January 08 snow day (catching up on some fun times)

What a great memory. Albany does not get snow much, so when we do it's something to cherish. Dad and Keena spent most of the day building a snow man. I, of course taking pictures and taking care of Quin. You'd of thought Ham was one of the kids..so sweet. Half the neighborhood kids ended up in our yard. By the time everyone was cold and wet, Ham invited any kids(who were interested)to our house for hot chocolate and lunch...yes and lunch :) Ok, I thought that was pretty much the cutest invitation I had ever seen. It reminded me of how thoughtful he is. How big his heart is. It was a precious moment of sharing with and loving our neighbors.
Quins 1st Birthday Party 2-7-08

Quin's first Birthday went great. It's amazing how much we put into a 1yr. olds birthday party.. by the end of the day they don't remember a darn thing. I've been told the party is really for the parents. I don't totally understand that, but hey, I love any excuse to entertain and get family together. Anyways, Quin was very excited about waking up to all the balloons in the house. When it came to opening the gifts he was more interested in the trash...box that is. He was not about to sit on Dads lap to open anything. When all gifts were open, he took a real interest in the blue ribbon... not the gift. I made a cake just for him...ya, that was uneventful. As soon as he got chocolate on his hand he couldn't focus on anything else but getting it off. It's like he's a clean freak or something...now who on earth could he have got that from. :) He didn't seem to be a real big fan of chocolate....now I know he didn't get that from me! So the cake was pretty much untouched. It's so amazing to see the differences in your children. With Keena, she left the four corners of the cake and ate the rest. Thank you all for coming. It means the world to us!!
